Eighties Night Poster

Here's a poster I made for eighties night.  I've said this twice before, but this is my last eighties night...it's probably not.  I just got bored at work and wanted to do something "fresh"  The picture is of my torso taken by TLE at a past night.  I used to wear suspenders there a lot.  Twas my uniform.

There's a new gunman in town...

...and his name be Major Lazer.  He's a fictional Jamaican Ex Veteran Vampire Slayer with a lazer strapped to his arm.  Unfortunately I can't embed the video but you can check it out here.  It's got all the things I love, cheesey old school cartoons, and a scene with Action Figures!  The song is called "Hold the line" and is extremely catchy.  You feel like you're on some sort of wild Jamaican Vampire chase!  It also features Santogold, which is double awesome!  It was produced by Diplo and Switch.  I haven't heard of Switch, but I do have a Diplo remix of Flashing Lights by Kanye West (even though I'm not a huge fan of Kanye) that I believe is better than the original.  All in all, I'm a fan of Major Lazer, and I'm counting on him to save me when the evil rastafarian vampires attack!

Lend an Arm

I cant remember where I found this but it's one of my favorite images of all time.  It's bizzare, creepy, maybe a little bit sexual(?) and in beautiful black and white.  I just wish I had thought of it first.

Adventures with my new camera

I went to a party and took my SLR. Here's what I came up with...

My perfect Layout is all messed up, thanks blogger preview.  (Top) Bottlecaps.  Cider.  Macro.  So artsy.  So misunderstood. (middle two) Matt and I playing Rockband in ethnic headwear.  I look like Afrika Bambatta, no? (Bottom)  The morning after.  I like this picture because of the way it flows.  You've got the two passed out beings sharing the reclinable love seat, a guy who parties like the energizer bunny, another passed out person on the floor, and finally the main culprit, the Pharaoh hat.
